About a vignette

One-day vignette is valid for one calendar day, which means 24 hours if it was bought in advance. For vignettes purchased on the same day, the validity starts right after vignette’s activation and ends at 23:59 of the same date.
Remember, before driving, ensure the vignette is valid to avoid a fine.

What is the duration of 1-day digital vignette?

What is the duration of 10-days vignette?

The ten-day vignette is valid for 10 consecutive days starting from the day of purchase plus 9 following days. For example, if you purchased a vignette on the 1st of January, your 10-day vignette will be valid till 10 of January (and including it).

What is the duration of 2-months vignette?

Two-month digital vignette is valid for 2 months from the first day of validity. For instance, if your 2-month vignette start day is 1st of January, the last day of its validity will be 1st of March. Remember always wait till getting your vignette validity confirmation before driving, unless you risk being fined.

What is the duration of 1-year (annual) vignette?

The annual vignette in Austria for the year 2024 is valid from the day you bought it 31.01.2025 (the next year after the year you purchased it). Therefore, the earlier you purchase when the new year has started - the longer your annual vignette will be valid. The car plate number is bound to the digital vignette you bought. This means if you bought a new car with a new car plate number - you will need to purchase a new digital vignette.
